Luis Schubert (*1993) grew up in a French-speaking environment in Munich, Germany.
After completing his B.A. in "Cinema and Media" at the Sorbonne in Paris, he developed scripts at Studiocanal.
Since 2016, Luis has been studying “Film directing” at the DFFB in Berlin.
His short films have been co-produced by arte, SWR or rbb and have premiered at international film festivals such as Palm Springs, Slamdance, or Max Ophüls.
He is currently developing his first feature film, BRITTA SCHLAG (working title), with Kojoten Film as well as his first series as head writer with Iconoclast Germany.
He co-founded 35K, a film collective that showcases and discusses debut films with their makers.
