Luis Schubert (*1993) grew up in a French-speaking environment in Munich. After a B.A. in Cinema and Media at the Sorbonne in Paris, he developed scripts at Studiocanal. Since 2016, he has studied Film Directing at the DFFB in Berlin. His shorts – co-produced by arte, SWR or rbb – have premiered at festivals such as Palm Springs, Slamdance, or Max Ophüls. He is currently developing his first feature with Kojoten Film (funded by ZDF - Kleines Fernsehspiel and Medienboard) his first series as head writer with Iconoclast Germany (funded by Medienboard). He also co-founded 35K, a collective showcasing and discussing debut films.
